Word reaching our newsroom from close family sources have confirmed the passing of Mrs. Kirlin Lettsome, long-standing educator and former principal of the Althea Scatliffe Primary School.
Lettsome passed away on the evening of Saturday August 6th, 2022 while in the United States receiving medical treatment.
Mrs. Lettsome was the wife of Dr. Quincy Lettsome and mother of three. In 2015 she was honored by the Althea Scatliffe Primary School for her longstanding contributions in education.
She was also an instructor at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College for many years.
