UNITY GOVERNMENT WILL NOT CONTINUE AFTER GENERAL ELECTION

The coalition National Unity Government will cease to exist after the House of Assembly has been dissolved to allow for the 2023 General Election.

Premier Dr. the Honourable Natalio Wheatley gave the confirmation during his Virgin Islands Party Congress Election last Sunday, stating that the Unity Government has served its intended purpose.

He said moving forward, his Virgin Islands Party will be seeking a clear mandate from residents throughout the territory.

Premier Wheatley who was reelected as Chairman of his party said he expects to continue to have the support of the opposition even after the election, once successful at the polls.
