HENRY INTENDS ON PUSHING THE SPORT OF BODYBUILDING IN THE BVI

Resident Jermaine Henry who recently created history in bodybuilding for the territory and his homeland Jamaica says he intends to push the sport in the BVI.

Henry recently placed third at the Arnold Classics in Columbus, Ohio in the Super Heavyweight category, competing in his second international competition since debuting in December 2022.

He spoke of his confidence heading into the competition and revealed that it was always his goal to place within the top 3.

Henry also provided some feedback from the judges, which he said will allow him to work on his weak points ahead of his next bodybuilding competition in Puerto Rico.

His next competition will be on June 24 and Henry says the journey is going to be more challenging since training will be a lot more intense.

Henry’s first ever international competition back in December was the Joe Weider’s Olympia Amateur Body Building Competition where placed 6th against more than 400 bodybuilders.
