Incumbent Representative for the 9th District Honourable Vincent Wheatley has stressed that Tourism is not a “one-man show”. Instead, he noted that the Virgin Island’s best efforts to excel in this industry succeed through the joint strengths of the government, members of the public and private stakeholders.
A balance that, according to him, is well understood by the people of the 9th District.
While he cheered the achievements already made by the Virgin Islands in the Tourism Industry, Wheatley says that there is still a lot of work to be done.
This growth, he said, must focus greatly on the 9th District.
