CPA TEAM HERE TO STRICTLY OBSERVE AND NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ELECTION PROCESS

Legal Political Analyst of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Mission Anne Marlborough has made it clear that the purpose of her team’s presence during the election period is to strictly observe the process and not interfere with the proceedings.

The CPA team held a press conference to address members of the public and the media on Tuesday, April 18, after arriving in the territory on Monday.

Marlborough also detailed some of the key areas that will be observed over the upcoming days.

Election Observation Lead Fleur Ten Hacken revealed some of the stakeholders that the team will be interacting with while on the island and disclosed the steps that will be undertaken right after the conclusion of the election.

Meanwhile, the Head of the CPA Mission Hon. Fatoumatta Njai Nam revealed the full team that will be on the grounds during the election period.
