PREMIER SENDS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF KEMO LETTSOME – ACTION PLAN REQUESTED FROM NSC

Premier Dr. the Honourable Natalio Wheatley has sent his condolences to the family of Kemo Lettsome who was recently gunned down in the East End/Long Look community.

This is the second gun-related murder to occur within the East End community in 2023 and the third murder by a firearm this year in the BVI.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, May 2, Premier Wheatley said the recent murder of Lettsome has shaken up the East End/Long Look community.

Premier Wheatley said the incident has resulted in the National Security Council having an emergency meeting to discuss plans on how best to tackle crime in the territory.

Premier Wheatley also appealed to the general public to come forward with any information that can assist the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force with their investigations into the matter.
