The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed that one male victim is nursing wounds following a shooting incident that occurred in the Long Bush area on the night of September 3rd 2023.
The police said in a short statement that the injured man was taken to the Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital (DOSH) for medical attention.
Some details of the shooting are still unknown, and at the time of the statement, the RVIPF could not reveal the severity of the victim’s injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
There were also reports of gunshots being heard in the West End area this weekend.
