BVI field athletes Djimon Gumbs and Eldred Henry have made clear their goal to represent the territory at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, France.
Both athletes represented the BVI at the just concluded 19th Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
Henry managed an 11th place finish in the Men’s Shot Put Final after putting a distance of 16.98 metres while Gumbs failed to make a legal mark, automatically placing him at the bottom of the list in 13th.

Gumbs said his focus is now placed on qualifying for the Games in Paris.
Henry shared a similar sentiment, adding that his journey for Paris qualification starts within a week.
