D’MOI SHINES AGAIN AS RIP CITY REMIX SECURES CONSECUTIVE WINS

In a solid performance at the Chiles Center on Wednesday night, D’Moi Hodge and the Rip City Remix (7-3) continued their winning ways, securing a 110-102 victory against winless NBA G League Ignite (0-14).

Hodge ended with an efficient 14 points, converting 66 percent from behind the arc, with seven rebounds and two assists. Teammates George Conditt IV paced the Remix with a double-double of 22 points and 17 rebounds, and Antoine Davis contributed 22 points with sharpshooting from behind the arc.

Ignite faced challenges from the opening quarter, shooting a mere 32 percent from the field, allowing the Remix to seize a six-point lead (29-23) by the second quarter. Despite Ignite’s resilience in the second period where they claimed a 52-50 lead at halftime, the Remix responded with poise.

After dealing with foul trouble in the first half, Ron Holland II erupted in the third quarter, pouring in 18 of his 31 points. Despite Holland’s standout performance, the Remix maintained a slim two-point advantage (82-80) heading into the final quarter.

The fourth quarter saw the Remix pulling away with authority, embarking on an 11-0 run and establishing a 13-point lead, the largest of the game, with 8:01 remaining in regulation. Conditt’s 12 points in the frame on efficient shooting from the field played a pivotal role in sealing the victory for the Remix.

This win comes on the heels of a commanding performance on Monday, where D’Moi’s 21-point contribution led the Remix to a decisive 118-95 victory over G League Ignite.
