MAN HOSPITALIZED AFTER SUSTAINING FACIAL INJURIES IN VIRGIN GORDA

An unidentified male was hospitalized on Saturday evening after sustaining  facial injuries in Virgin Gorda. 

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), officers received a report after 5:00PM on February 17th of an injured man at a residence in The Valley. The initial call indicated the male had facial wounds and blood on his clothing.

Officers responded to investigate the incident. The injured man was then transported to the Nurse Iris O’Neal Clinic for initial assessment before being referred to Dr. Orlando Hospital for further treatment. As of now, his condition is considered stable. 

Details surrounding how the man sustained his injuries remain unknown at this time. 

Reports in circulation claim that he may have been stabbed, however at this time local authorities have not confirmed this detail.
