1ST ANNUAL CARIBBEAN BAKING AWARDS DEEMED A SUCCESS

In a dazzling display of culinary artistry, the first Annual Caribbean Baking Awards took centre stage in the British Virgin Islands on February 16 and 17, leaving a lasting impression as a resounding success.

The two-day event brought together nine talented contestants and 21 nominees from across the Caribbean, each vying for recognition and acclaim in various categories.

The panel of judges featured renowned culinary experts, including celebrity baker and cake designer, Mrs. Yolanda Gampp, and the internationally recognized chef and reality television star, Natasha de Bourg.

After much deliberation, it was the islands of Trinidad and Tobago and Dominica that emerged as the frontrunners, securing the top two awards of the competition.
