PRESIDENT BIDEN TO CELEBRATE NEW YEAR IN ST CROIX

For the second consecutive year, President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden will celebrate New Year’s Eve and ring in the New Year on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

In a statement on Wednesday, U.S. Virgin Islands Governor Albert Bryan Jr. welcomed the President and First Lady, expressing immense pride that the Bidens chose St. Croix to relax and unwind for the new year. 

“Today, it is with immense pride and profound gratitude that we welcome President Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden to the beautiful island of St. Croix,” said Bryan. 

He emphasized the significance of the presidential visit, calling it a proud moment not just for St. Croix but the entire U.S. Virgin Islands community.

He also noted the Bidens’ trip underscores St. Croix’s unique charm.

The USVI Governor thanked President Biden for his ongoing support of the islands and said it was an honor to host him and the First Lady. He added that the visit reinforces the strong bond between the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United States.
