As authorities gathered for the official opening of the newly redeveloped Elmore Stoutt High School, there seemed to be a consensus among officials that the ceremony could not proceed without giving due credit to Former Premier and Minister for Finance Andrew Fahie.
First word on Fahie’s imperative role in the project was from Premier Dr the Honourable Natalio Wheatley as he recalled his experience approaching the then Premier on the initiative, while he himself served as Minister for Education.
